What is the FTR Blog?

• Teens in Florida read and Florida media specialists know it. They have put together this list of 15 books for you to read.

• This blog site is here for you to comment on this year’s books as you read them. Tell other teens in Brevard what you liked or didn’t like about these books. Come back to this site to see what others have said and to comment again. Read all 15 books–they’re great reads picked especially for you.

To Comment on a Book:

• You can add your comments about these books by clicking on COMMENTS under each book summary. Use the “To Get You Started” questions to help focus your writing.

• In the NAME BOX, be sure to use your first name only, a space, then the initials of your school (ex: Harry RHS or Hermione CBHS).

• If someone else has the same name as you, use your name followed by a number, a space, and the school initials (ex: Harry2 RHS or Hermione2 CBHS).

• If you are posting for class credit, be sure to ask your teacher for naming instructions.

Remember your grandmother could read your comments! We want you to comment from your heart but…NO profanity, attacks on other blogger comments, or outside links, please. If you wouldn’t put something in a paper you turn into the strictest English teacher you’ve ever had, don’t post it.
